Shandong Airlines
Shandong Airlines operates CRJ-700 aircraft, but we found it difficult to do takeoff
analysis for them according to our needs. We asked Air Software Ltd for help, Air
Software Ltd provided us with "Velocity", their aircraft performance solution,
using it we can do takeoff analysis according to our needs.
Before Velocity, when we did takeoff analysis, only one type of wind could be used;
from the result we could not check conditions of runway and obstacles, and we also
could not specify the configuration of the aircraft. Our pilots often want to know
the maximum takeoff weight for a specific headwind or tailwind, we had to do multiple
analysis manually. After we started to use Velocity we no longer experienced these
problems.
We think Velocity is an excellent piece of software, it will help your performance
department a lot.
